The Watersports centre in South Soma Bay is located directly next to the Caribbean World Resorts Soma Bay hotel, stocking a decent range of Windsurf, Kitesurf and Wingfoil equipment.
In addition to a spacious reception area, there is plenty of space in sun and shade for theory lessons but also just to chill and sit.

- Storage for kite and wing material
- Storage for windsurfing equipment (please register in advance)
- Private toilets and showers
Directly off the beach there is a slight ‘wind shadow’ as the wind blows side shore from the left over the neighbouring Palm Royal Hotel. This is no problem for Windsurfing and Wingfoiling, but for kitesurf, it is a bit more challenging. The centre offers shuttle transfers to the Soma Bay lagoon, and kitesurf lessons are also done there.

The Egyptian parliament has passed a so-called amusement tax. From 16 July 2023, this tax must be paid to the Egyptian tax office. Unfortunately, this amusement tax also applies to all Sport/Dive centres on the Red Sea. Centres are now obliged to report the income daily to the tax office and to pay this tax to the state.
